CHALET ALPINA HOTEL & APARTMENTS, La Thuile

Chalet Alpina Hotel & Apartments offers newly renovated apartments and hotel bedrooms with wood flooring. All bedrooms feature en suite bathrooms with showers, WC, and hair dryers. Apartments include a lounge and kitchen. Options include a Superior 3-bedroom apartment (80 SQM for 6 persons) with TV, safe, ensuite bathrooms, dining area, kitchen, and south-facing balcony offering glacier and mountain views. A Superior 2-bedroom apartment (60 SQM for 4 persons) includes similar amenities and mountain views. The 30 SQM studio apartment accommodates 2 persons (plus a child) with a kitchenette, balcony with Rutor Glacier views, TV, and safe. A 20 SQM studio apartment features a kitchenette and mountain-view balcony. Garden-view apartments are also available: a 75 SQM two-bedroom for 4 persons with a fireplace and full kitchen, and a 55 SQM one-bedroom for 2 adults and 2 children with a kitchen. Both garden apartments have direct garden access. Double bedrooms are also available with TV, safe, and ensuite bathroom.

La Thuile, connected with La Rosière, provides 150km of pistes and off-piste skiing on one pass. A 6-day ski pass includes 2 days at other Valle da Aosta resorts like Courmayeur, Pila, Cervinia, and Gressoney. Heated ski and boot lockers are available at the lifts for 2 Euro per person per day. Ski instruction and mountain guides can be booked. In summer, experience 220 km of paths for skilled MTB bikers, Alpine flowers, and mountain wildlife. The MTB Natural Trail Area uses cable cars (open end of June to end of August) for access. The MTB School offers classes in enduro, cross-country, freeride, and downhill. The Bike Hour event takes place on August 14. The 5 Chi Walks start daily at 7:30 am with Tibetan rites.

Chalet Alpina Hotel & Apartments is 200 km from Turin. From Geneva Airport, drive towards France/Chamonix. From Turin Airport, take the motorway towards Milano/Aosta. From Milano Airports, take the A4 towards Turin, then the A4/5 towards Ivrea. From Genoa, take the A10 towards Savona, then the A26 towards Alessandria. Car hire with approximately 150€ for petrol and tolls/tunnel costs is comparable to airport transfers.

La Thuile benefits from slopes facing north, ensuring snow conditions. Its position on both sides of the main mountain range guarantees snow from any direction. The resort features a high lift capacity and a low bed capacity, resulting in less crowded slopes. La Thuile's trails are created in respect of the environment.

Chalet Alpina provides free WIFI throughout. The property features a cosy lounge with TV, a dining area, and a kitchen. Note that domestic pets are not allowed. Each day starts at 7.30 am with a non compulsory session of the 5 Tibetan rites to activate and stimulate the seven key energy chakras in the body. Linen, towels and final clean included. Absolutely no smoking is allowed in any area inside-or-outside the windows of the apartments including the balconies.
